Today we will spend the day in Valdez exploring the fishing town. We are surrounded by mountains full of snow and waterfalls. This morning we went for a walk to the harbor to check it out and to grab some coffee and breakfast. Alaska is full of little espresso shacks. In the afternoon Lucas, Alex and Nicho decided to buy fishing poles. No big catches but at least they have other opportunities! We stopped for a late lunch along the harbor. Most went for hikes around the area throughout the day. When the fishing boats came in, Kurt bought a big piece of Halabot and he bbq d it for dinner!
